Jae-Beom Takata professionally known as Brian Tee is a Japanese-born American actor. He is best known for playing the roles of Dr. Ethan Choi on the NBC medical drama Chicago Med, Oroku Saki/The Shredder in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows, Hamada in Jurassic World, and Takashi “D.K.” in The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift. His other credits include; The Chronicle, No Tears for the Dead, The Wolverine, and Grey’s Anatomy.

He played the role of Kazu, the owner of Sushi Rox, on Nickelodeon’s Zoey 101. In 2012, he played the role of Akira Kimura in the TV series Grimm.
He went on to appear in shows like; Shake It Up, Hawaii Five-0, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., and Baby Daddy. Brian played the role of Liu Kang in the YouTube series Mortal Kombat Legacy. In 2006, he played the role of “D.K.” Takashi “Drift King” in the 3rd installment of the Fast & Furious series The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift. In 2013, he was cast as Liang Chow in the Television film The Gabby Douglas Story.
