She went on to appear in movies and television shows like; Make It or Break It, Modern Family, Private Practice, Party Down, The Mentalist, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Cinema Verite, Bad Teacher, and Edgar.
Dever starred with Chloë Grace Moretz and Keira Knightley in Lynn Shelton’s dark comedy Laggies (2014). That same year, she had a co-starring role in Jason Reitman’s Men, Women & Children. In 2017 she appeared in the drama film Outside In. She appeared in supporting roles in the films Detroit, All Summers End, and We Don’t Belong Here in the same year.
