Kelly Siegler Biography
Kelly Siegler a native of Texas is an American former Harris County, State of Texas prosecutor and a television personality. She is known for starring in the investigative true crime series Cold Justice and the upcoming TV show Prosecuting Evil with Kelly Siegler.
Siegler has been serving as the Bureau Chief of the Special Crimes Bureau, which comprises of the Asset Forfeiture Division, the Identity Theft Division, the Major Offenders Division, the Major Fraud Division, and the Consumer Fraud Division. She became the Harris County prosecutor in 1987.
She served in that position for 21 years until 2008 when she resigned. During her time as a prosecutor, she dealt with some of the toughest cases in Harrison County and has tried about 200 jury trials. In addition, she tried twenty capital murder death penalty cases and was able to pass the death penalty in nineteen of those cases.
Other than working as a prosecutor, Kelly has made appearances as a speaker and expert in effective courtroom advocacy. She has also given lectures all around the country on various topics including; Final Arguments, Jury Presentation, How to Pick a Jury, and Arguing Effectively for a Death Sentence.
