Lauren Marie Patten is an American actress, singer, and writer. Patten is best recognized for playing and creating the role of Joanne “Jo” Taylor in the Broadway musical Jagged Little Pill. This role earned her the Tony Award for Best Featured Actress in a Musical. She is also known for her role as Rachel Witten in the crime TV series Blue Bloods. Her other credits include; The Good Fight, Switched at Birth, Our Town, and The Diary of Anne Frank.

She gained significant recognition for her role as Jo in the Broadway musical “Jagged Little Pill,” which is based on the music of Alanis Morissette.

Lauren Patten received critical acclaim for her performance in “Jagged Little Pill” and was nominated for a Tony Award for Best Featured Actress in a Musical for her role in the production. Her portrayal of Jo, a character dealing with issues of identity and self-discovery, garnered attention for its emotional depth and authenticity.
