Born and raised in Pennsylvania Sheinelle Jones is an American journalist and news anchor and reporter. She is presently serving as a correspondent for NBC News. In addition, the news anchor co-hosts the weekdays’ show third hour Today.
Sheinelle first started serving as a co-host on the Today show on October 4, 2014, after joining the show as part of the Weekend Today program. In January 2019, Jones started presenting Third-hour and had to leave the Weekend Today show due to the many hours she spent working.
The celebrated news anchor started her journalism career working at WICS news station located in Springfield, Illinois. After some time, Jones moved to KOKI, a Fox-affiliated station located in Tulsa, Oklahoma in 2003. She later left KOKI and joined WTXF-TV located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania where she spent 9 years as a news anchor.
